How we started…

And. was an idea created by me, Ayesha, towards the end of my Degree. Once graduating from University in 2018 with a Degree in Fashion Design and Marketing I decided to put my skills to use and create a brand designing swimwear. After a while of toing and froing over many months, I grabbed the bull by the horns (so to speak) and made an official start in March 2019. After finding myself a little space to create a studio, my small dream of starting my own business was finally becoming a reality.

Even though throughout the site and on social media I use the terms ‘us’ a-lot, And. is currently only run by myself. I design swimwear with some of my own needs in mind, I find i’m forever buying swimwear that’s not quite right or not quite the style I want, so why not create my own! Having made swimwear for many months, I branched out into pj / loungewear pieces, and now into making full clothing collections!
